Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo fame was interviewed in an issue of Famitsu (read the full thing here) about his work for the Zelda series. One interesting part of the article is where Miyamoto speaks about his inspiration for major elements of the final Wii Zelda game, Skyward Sword. Excerpts of the translated interview can be found after the break.

Writing editorials versus satirical articles

Man, I am just full of cliches.
None of you may be asking, "where are the editorials? I liked the direction of that Paper Mario one." Well, the answer is simple: I've sold out.

Kingdom Hearts III development finished; musicians continue work, however
A group of developers stated on Twitter (the post has been since removed) that development for Kingdom Hearts III was finished. However, the musicians brought aboard to make the new theme are having some issues. Meanwhile, other sections of the crew are having problems putting the finishing touches on the game.
Well, if you think of it that way...
A while back, I got Paper Mario: Sticker Star for the 3DS. Going in with rather high hopes as I hadn't been disappointed by the series before, I came out feeling almost violated. "M-muh childhood," I whispered, having played the original two games whenever I was younger.
Frustrated, I quickly sold the game. That was the first game I had ever sold.

INTRODUCTION
Hello
Welcome to my blog, Rough Textures. I'd write some kind of "ironic" or funny statement that pokes fun at blogging as a whole or the state of video games and the related community, but I think all of those have been taken. So I guess I'll take the high road and write this statement that plays on those kinds of aforementioned blog slogans/jokes.
